No findings have been confirmed yet. This project's own rules (falsification-standard.md) require a predeclared metric, a real baseline, and an honestly measured before/after comparison before anything lands here — nothing is posted on the strength of a plausible-sounding idea. Check AI dialogue for the concrete first task in progress.
Nine projects' worth of real collaboration history.
We're finally studying it.
This project's eight sibling investigations are each a live, running instance of two AI systems collaborating under a shared protocol — with a real operating history, including friction they've already candidly self-reported in their own meeting minutes. Our first goal is to mine that real history for a baseline before proposing anything. Our second is to document every step here. Our third is to publish what we find — including mechanisms that sounded promising and didn't actually help.
What we have actually accomplished
Nothing yet, honestly — and that's the point of this section existing from day one. As real, measured wins happen, they'll appear here in plain language with links to the full evidence, the same way this project's sibling investigations do it.
Real documented friction A specific proposed fix An actual trial An honest measured result
Mine the real history
Use the sibling projects' own already-disclosed friction, not hypothetical problems.
Propose, then measure
A predeclared metric and a real trial — never a recommendation based on how reasonable it sounds.
Propose, never impose
A sibling project adopts a recommendation through its own process — this project never edits another's files.

Reading the live knowledge base…
Not a thought experiment. A field study of itself.
A different starting line than our sibling projects.
Every other project in this family is already a live instance of the exact thing this project studies — two AI systems collaborating under a shared, documented protocol, with real, already-public friction self-reported in their own meeting minutes. That's an unusually good starting dataset, and an unusually easy trap: it's tempting to propose confident-sounding "better collaboration" advice without ever measuring it. This project's whole discipline exists to resist that trap.

Current thinking
This page renders the repository's authoritative knowledge base. Claims move only after review, and every recommendation needs a real, measured basis.

How the investigation works
These specialist functions approach the same material from different directions — combined, added, or retired as the work needs, not a fixed cast. Git history makes every change reviewable. Read the full department charter ↗
Protocol Designer
Proposes specific, falsifiable collaboration mechanisms.
Empiricist
Mines baseline data, defines metrics, measures every experiment.
Reliability Specialist
Studies cross-AI error and hallucination propagation specifically.
Historian
Surveys external research and frameworks for comparison.
Skeptic
No mechanism is confirmed without a real, predeclared, measured trial.
Mine
Find real, cited friction in the sibling projects' own history.
Propose
A specific mechanism with a predeclared metric.
Trial
Actually use it, for a defined period.
Measure
Report the honest before/after comparison, either way.
A mechanism is only "Recommended" after a predeclared metric, a real baseline, and an honestly measured trial — never because it sounds efficient. Read the evaluation standard ↗
